I want to express my appreciation to you and your company for all that you did to see that the most critical step (the design, planning and installation) involved in replacing our old air conditioners and furnaces went very well and just as you promised.

The Houk installation crew you sent us arrived on time (even in pouring rain!) and got right to work; and they stayed with it  - even calling in a couple of extra crewmen. - to be certain the job was completed within the two-day timeframe you had set. Not just that, but even though they were doing a vast amount of very hard and dirty work, in the midst of our home, to tear out hundreds of feet of twenty-year old, dusty ductwork from three separate attics, pull new wiring through the walls for the new thermostats, install a new furnace vent through a different location in the roof, build a new return air vent, move gas, electric and drain lines, haul out and away the dirty, old, rusted equipment and bring in the new, larger units, they never once muddied the new carpet or scratched the newly painted walls. I never would have believed it was possible if I had not stood there and watched them for those two days, and in fact, I never would have appreciated all that they had to do in order to get the job done right if I hadn't actually watched them doing it.

And the best part? No buyer's remorse! Those Trane XL19i's are whisper quiet and providing commercial grade cooling for our home. They almost never operate in their second (higher) stage mode, yet our home is perfectly comfortable at a thermostat setting that is four degrees higher (78ºF) than we had to use with the old York "tombstone" units in order to obtain the same lever of "cool" throughout our two-story home. I suppose we'll soon see if the 19 SEER efficiency levels, variable speed fans and two-state cooling capabilities built into the new equipment will be reflected in our electric bills in the coming months.

I am looking forward to receiving the rebate you are doing the "paperwork" to get for me from our electric company, and I'm looking forward to having Houk out to do the routine maintenance to keep our Tranes in good working condition for many years to come.

Again my sincerest thanks to you and the entire Houk team that make this project go so smoothly for us with such great results at  the end.

The indoor section of the HVAC system for my home had to be relocated and four duct outlets added as part of a larger remodeling project. Sherrie Long answered my inquiries and referred me to Scott Fowler. Mr. Fowler planned, estimated and coordinated the work; Nick Day, Gerald Mann and Jose Morales accomplished it

I just wanted to take the time to let you know how pleased I am with the technicians that handled our major AC unit replacement. They were so conscientious and courteous. they made such a major task worthwhile. In fact, I was getting cold feet early on the day of installation and gave some thought to putting this undertaking off.

The crew arrived and soon after, I was able to feel better about the decision to invest in a new unit and know it was the right decision. I also made the decision in going with your company. I generated several quotes and when I needed to make final determination, your salesman and 'best price' made the difference. I appreciated the time, Scott fowler, took with me. Over a period of a couple of weeks, he was always accessible to answer countless questions. I found Scott so helpful and knowledgeable, as well as professional, understanding and not pushy in any way. The installers: Nick Day, Jose Morales, Roger Burns and your new guy Brian  were the icing on the cake! They were so considerate of any mess that might occur. Usually when contractors do work in a home, it is not uncommon for freshly painted walls to get marred or dirty and these guys were so conscientious to not hurt anything and believe me, they carried 'in and out' some huge equipment.

We love the new thermostat and have been reminded of how technology has changed. We are looking forward to the savings we will incur from this 'energy efficient investment', the XL191. We are feeling confident it was the right choice and are pleased with your company's service, professionalism and knowledge.

It is a pleasure for me to write to you as regards the outstanding level of service we had from Scott Fowler, your salesman, and also from your installation crew, both of whom truly exhibited desires-to-please far beyond what most businesses furnish today. 

Scott was outstanding from the get-go. He measured and calculated what we would need in replacing our two system, and by doing so, he made recommendations that greatly improved the comfort of our house. We secured two other bids that were also from Trane Comfort dealers, but neither measured or suggested any improvements in the existing duct work. 

Also, Scott found, and had corrected, a deficiency in the return system servicing our master bedroom, and that corrected the excessive dust accumulation there which had existed from the time our house was built. 

Additionally, Scott went over our attic and checked out everything there from A to Z. 

Scott answered all of our questions, and it was apparent Scott was exceedingly knowledgeable. And he brought with him on his first visit with us, product literature as well as letters of appreciation from families Scott had sold to before and who were pleased with his services and the services of your installation crews. 

Scott wrote TO Dos for your installation crews, and he was here before the crews arrived on installation day, and he has returned to check everything out and has had some more things done. 

We found Scott knowledgeable, thorough and friendly, and we are pleased with our new systems as regards their levels of comfort. 

In summary, things went well, and in many areas exceeded our expectations. Your company, we feel, is fortunate to have Scott. We know that we can call on Scott and he’ll respond even though you and he have been paid, and in today’s one-call-does-all and hit-em-and-move-out corporate   world, Scott has truly been a breath of fresh air.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased our family is with the new XL14i Trane Heat Pump System that we bought form your company back in July. When I first met with you I was told that we should expect significant savings on our electric bill and better air quality and comfort  throughout our home. I was a little skeptical at first but extremely and pleasantly surprised today. The benefits we are currently experiencing are as follows.

1. We are saving a minimum of $100.00 per month on our electric bill
2. There is a considerably less dust throughout the house that makes for better air quality and reduces the time spent for housecleaning.
